Clean air. Clean water. Fertile fields. Distinct seasons. Northern Tasmania boasts perfect growing conditions for farmers, and we are the beneficiaries. Visit 41 Degrees South Salmon and Ginseng Farm to sample some hot smoked salmon, as well as the therapeutic Ginseng herb. Then onto the Melita Honey Farm where we can sample more than 50 different varieties/flavours of honey along with their own nougat. We then enjoy close to 30 fresh home made fudge options at Silk in Chudleigh. And of course we need chocolate, so a visit to the House of Anvers which specialises in Belgium chocolate, fudges and truffles. At the Cherry Shed we get to sample cherry sauce, jam, relish, chutney, liqueurs and port. After lunch we visit Ghost Rock Vineyard for a tasting from their wine list, then onto Blustery Banks Vineyard’s cellar door for more wine tastings. The Spreyton Cider Company has a wonderful tasting room to showcase their varieties of apple cider. Cheese cheese cheese at Ashgrove Cheese Factory. And finish off with a berry dessert at Christmas Hills Raspberry Farm.

I hope you bring your appetite.
